Zimbabwe officially assumed the chairmanship of the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme (KPCS) for 2023, and hosted both the Intersessional meeting in May and the Plenary session in November in Victoria Falls. Over 400 delegates from around 59 KP member states & observers gathered to discuss key issues such as conflict diamonds, responsible sourcing, refining the KP review and reform cycle, peer review visits, and the establishment of a permanent Kimberley Process secretariat.
